Way to Go

Melanie and Jonathan Still, crew managers for PowerHouse, have the following advice for those attending the Teesside event on Sunday:

River Tees Watersports Centre
The Slipway
Dugdale Street
Stockton on Tees
TS18 2NL
The best approach is to follow signs for Stockton from the A19. Pass ASDA and cross next set of traffic lights. At next roundabout look for disused car dealership (on the right) and take the first exit, there is a small sign on the right. Continue to the end and turn right. The Centre is first on the left. There is limited parking at the Centre itself. All trailers must park in the designated area, take care when passing through the gate as long trailers tend to ground.

Exeter National League Results

They've finally arrived, for all those desperate for the fine detail of the racing in Exeter the results are just one click away below. Not quite the weather we have come to expect of the sunny south west but the usual close racing that the narrowing course always produces brought plenty of excitement to a pretty damp audience. The cafe owners certainly had a good day! There was a touch of Bristol 2007 about the early part of the day with barely a square centimetre of space under the gazebos but the sun made a welcome appearance early in the afternoon. Kingston Royals and Worcester Dragons shared the honours but will they keep it on for Bristol this weekend?

Bristol National League Event

Round 3 of the National League is likely to be simmering under blue skies and sunshine this weekend, a big contrast to the conditions in Exeter and Bristol in previous years. Don't forget to bring some shade and high factor sun cream! The final programme is available from the link below as well as instructions for paddlers and boats.
