The British Dragon Boat Racing Association is the governing body of dragon boat racing in Great Britain. Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest growing and most exciting water sports you can take part in. The BDA is responsible for all aspects of the sport from community development up to managing British teams racing abroad. It runs a National League calendar for racing crews all round the country together with the National Championships held annually at the National Water Sports Centre.

Henley Dragons Junior Regatta
Henley Dragon Boat Club continue to lead the way in new UK dragon boat initiatives. They will be running the first Henley Junior Regatta on Saturday, 28th April 2007 aiming to provide an opportunity for young people to get a taste of taking part in Dragon Boat Racing. The Regatta will be a fun, one-day dragon boat competition for juniors, aged 11 up to 18, consisting of a series of 200m races. The regatta will be held at Marsh Meadows in Henley-on-Thames.

Each crew will be able to enter one of two racing classes:

U18 –For young people under 18 and over 16 as of 1st January 2007

U16 – For young people under 16 and over 11 as of 1st January 2007
