The British Dragon Boat Racing Association is the governing body of dragon boat racing in Great Britain. Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest growing and most exciting water sports you can take part in. The BDA is responsible for all aspects of the sport from community development up to managing British teams racing abroad. It runs a National League calendar for racing crews all round the country together with the National Championships held annually at the National Water Sports Centre. |

After a wild, wet and windy weekend of time trials at Peterborough Rowing Lake all of the BNTS squad contenders are avidly awaiting ratification of their position in the selected teams. The weather played an unwelcome part in proceedings giving coaches an extra headache when comparing times achieved in differing conditions. The pre-time trial results and other comparators are sure to inform final selection when the prevailing conditions may have had a major impact. The selected teams now have nearly three months to hone their performance.
