Seven National League events are planned for the 2013 season with 5 events counting for points in the 500m and other race distance categories for Standard and Premier League crews. Event Organisers have been asked to declare the alternate race distance and challenge that their event will support by the end of February.

The 2012 BDA Congress will take place at Worcester University on Saturday 24th November. Members should have received details of this through their respective clubs who will be sending dlegates to take part in lively debate and workshops.

The GB Team Manager has finalised the dates and venue for the 2013 trials:
Pre-trials will be at Peterborough on 26th and 27th January
Final selection trials will be at Peterborough on 16th and 17th March

Book these dates in your diary and sign up early. Last year showed just how important it is to get a time posted on the pre-trials. Irrespective of your times this year, let's make them even better for next year.

Grand Dragons training, for the more mature members of the association, will also take place this coming weekend (Sunday November 25th).
