Did you know that this year we celebrate our 21st Anniversary?

The Annual Awards Evening Dinner (venue to be finalised somewhere in the middle of the Country) will also mark this special occasion on Saturday 8th November 2008.

This will be for 18+ only and will include a three course evening meal followed by various awards and enertainment (disco etc).

In order for us to plan ahead could you please indicate your interest by contacting Joanne Griffiths ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) stating the number of tickets you may purchase and the name of the club you paddle for.

A flyer will be available at the Liverpool event to promote this with your crew members. Let's kick off this new annual event with a BIRTHDAY BASH to remember!!

All Change at the Top
Wednesday, 19 March 2008

Well almost.

Following the departure from the executive committee of Julie Doyle, Brian Hoare, Nigel Leigh and Anna Scheultz several new faces have joined the executive committee. Mike Haslam has agreed to remain as the caretaker Chairman until a new chairman comes forward. Dave Bangs, Jan Foster and Andy Menzies were re-elected to the committee for another term and Claire Parfrey was elected from her co-opted position. Sue Menzies and Joanne Griffiths have taken the casual vacancies created by the resignations and Penny Thompson and Andy Din join the committee as co-opted members for 2008.

We wish them well with their endeavours to take the sport forward. Any members who would like to help the committee in particular areas are urged to contact the secretary with their interest. Simply email secretary@ to express an interest.
