In the Pink with an Appetite to Grow
Friday, 20 January 2012

The Pink Piranha Breast Cancer Supporters and Survivors Group was launched on 01/01/2012.

Pink Piranhas Snapping for Success

Tim Smith says "we are based at the Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club, Runnymede, Surrey but aim to serve the whole of the Thames Valley. We will complement the existing BC groups and hope to work closely with them in future. The initial concept is “Breast Cancer- inclusive” so we will never turn anybody who wants to paddle away."

"We are not primarily a racing team so will gladly train paddlers and pass them on to their local BDA clubs if they wish to race. How the group develops will ultimately be determined by the members and I believe the potential is massive.  If you wish to get involved in any way you are very welcome. If you know anybody who might benefit or be interested, please feel free to pass the info on. “Citius, Altius, Fortius”. Olympic year – Olympic spirit."
