After competing in the recent Euoropean Championships the new coaching team are now re-building the squad for the 2009 World Championships. John Creaser has sent out the following call to arms and the poster below to spread the word about the first training session on December 7th - "If you are 40 or over on June 1st 2009 then come along and join us to get the strongest crew we can to take on the World."

The front page of Dragon Boat International magazine mourns the loss of Sergio Orsi. Mike Haslam, our Chairman, said of the loss 'Sergio was a good man who supported us well and that support will be missed'.  The front page is attached below.

Preparations for the 2009 World Championships continue next month with an invitation to all qualifying paddlers with the ambition to challenge for medals in Prague. If you're at the top of you're game, ready to step up to international competition and over 40 on June 1st 2009, the senior squad can provide that opportunity.
