Grand Dragons trials 2020

Saturday 11 January

The trials for selection in the Grand Dragons crews for 2020 at the Europeans Nations, Kiev, will be held on the 15^th and 16^th February 2020.

O1 - Timed run

The 15^th Feb will be the water based time trials consisting of 2 runs over a 450 - 480 metre course at Hurricanes/Silver Wing and paddling on the same side.

You can choose to trial on the left, the right, or one of each.

Land based tests

The 16^th Feb will be a series of land based exercises held at Staines Boat Club and Wraysbury Dragon Boat Club.

These will consist of:

1000 metre rowing ergo with drag set to 120 (Times will be weight adjusted. Adaptive paddlers will be using a paddling ergo)

Maximum push ups in 1 minute

Maximum pull ups in 1 minute

Maximum bar pull ups in 1 minute

Approx 40 Kg Men
Approx 25 Kg women
