Midlands National Regatta

National Watersport Centre, Nottingham - 19th September

A one day event for clubs from all over the country.

Please note all Race entries are now done electronically through the Membership Platform. We have Guides on how to do this on our website here: https://www.dragonboat.org.uk/the-bda/bda-membership/bda-membership-platform/

The event registration link is available here:

Entry Classes

We will be running the following classes:

20 paddler Open and Mixed racing over 200m, 500m, and 2000m.  The two classes will be run as a single competition with separate finals so you can only enter either Open or Mixed.  For this event only Mixed racing rules will be relaxed to allow a maximum of 10 men, but any number of women.

12 paddler Men's and Women's racing over 200m.

If you don't have enough paddlers to enter the competition please get in touch and we will try to put you in touch with another club looking for additional paddlers.

Entry Fees

There is single subsidised entry fee of £200 for a single crew into all classes and race distances.  If you want to enter two crews into the same 20 person class you need to purchase two tickets and do two separate crew lists.  If you need a Pool Boat please purchase a Pool Boat ticket for £150.

BDA Membership and Crew Lists

All crew members (including helms and drummers) must be registered on the BDA membership platform.  Any crew members not having a BDA membership (Adult, Student, U18 or Coach/Official) must have an event ticket purchased for them by the Club Admin in advance of the race and before the team sheet is submitted.  There will be no payments taken on the day for either individual membership or event tickets.

Crew lists must be submitted through this platform and a hard copy submitted on the day.

You do not need to do a separate list for each class, just one list of all your paddlers, helms and drummers taking part. The only exception is if you have two crews in the same 20 person class in which case you must do two separate crew lists.
