Recruiting: GB BCP management
Tuesday 28 JulyApplications are open for a management team for the Great Britain BCP squad 2027
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate team to develop, lead and support the Great Britain BCP dragon boat squad through the World Championships in Hong Kong in 2027.
As a minimum, the management team should consist of a squad coach and a squad admin manager. It may also include one or more assistant coaches and/or other roles such as a strength and fitness advisor. All applicants within each prospective team should be named in the application. Only prospective coaches will be asked to attend an interview.

- A covering letter explaining why you are interested
- A CV for each person applying for coach, assistant coach and admin manager roles
- Note that applicants for coach roles must hold a minimum Coaching Level 3 qualification, and applicants for assistant coach roles must hold a minimum Coaching Level 2 qualification.
- The squad management team must include a coach and an admin manager. The assistant coach role and any other roles are optional.
- Details of anyone else you would like to be part of your squad management team (for example, strength and conditioning/fitness coach), including names and a brief summary of their relevant experience
- An overview of your coaching/leadership style and what your approach would be
- An outline of your preferred format for trials
- Your thoughts on training camps: how many you would run, key dates or timings you’d aim for, and any preferences or considerations regarding venues (either specific venues or factors you’d prioritise)

- Application deadline: Sunday 20 September 2026
- Interviews: Interviews with prospective coaches will be held via Teams during w/c 28 September.
- Outcome: All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by Monday 5 October.
